I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this shop. They ripped my mother off for about $300 and took advantage of her. Also they didn't put all the parts back together and left tools inside the car. One more thing is that when they were going through the glove box they broke a pair of reading glasses and didn't say anything. My mother told the shop owner and all she said was sorry and gave her a free oil change. Save yourself the trouble by learning from this experience and don't use this shop.

Upon reading your review, I immediately reached out to your mother--I both called and emailed her. The only response I have ever received is that everything is great and that was on March 5th. Even then, I reached out again because our company is not a chain store or big corporation. We are a small family business and we care about our clients. From the moment your mother walked in the door, we did our best to make sure she and her vehicle were getting what was needed. Her estimate was given to her in writing, she was given a ride home, and she was picked up the following morning as promised. There most certainly was an issue with the glove box--it had not been re-assembled and so when I was told her vehicle was complete and ready for pick-up I was completely embarrassed to find that it was not--this prompted the complimentary service offer. The "tools" that were left were actually a screwdriver that did not belong to any of my team members. I am going to make the same offer here publicly that I made to your mother on her voicemail and email: I stand behind my work 100% I will be happy to help in any way I can. Please feel free to contact me directly. It is important to me and I care a great deal.

I was selling my Jeep Cherokee and the buyer wanted to get it inspected before purchasing it. The buyer decided to go to this location since it was close to our work but neither of us had been there. The Jeep that I was selling had annual tune-ups at the dealership and was in good shape but not great. There were some cosmetic issues but according to the Jeep dealership, the engine and rest were working correctly. Upon taking the car to this place to get inspected, they said it required $2800 to pass. Now I don't know much about cars and fixing them up, but I could sense something was off when it came to issues they were bringing up. One was that the front bumper had a crack in it. I was expecting them to say that it needs to be replaced since it would not function correctly with a crack in it similar to a motorcycle helmet. But the inspector said that it barely passed because it wouldn't catch someone's pants if they walked by and snagged themselves on it. What does this have to do with how a car functions? Obviously they get to pick and choose who gets to pass inspection which also puts money in their pocket so there is clearly a conflict of interest. This is a big problem in the state of Maryland (among many other things) and one that may never change. I couldn't give this a 1 star since they seemed to be thorough and were very nice to work with that day and quick. Just be cautious because we took the car to another state inspector and the only thing that had to be changed were the brake pads (this place also said to change those) and it cost $200. This is a large margin of error between two places looking at the same car. Be warned.

Marty, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Getting a vehicle inspected before selling or buying is always recommended. My service director and I took a brief moment to check our service history and the last Jeep Cherokee that was inspected, let alone serviced here, was November 2017--and it passed so I would really like a chance to review your particular invoice, inspection report and visit notes and make sure we were in fact the facility that took care of you, your vehicle and your buyer. To clarify a few points on the bumper in particular COMAR states "Reject Vehicle If: Abnormal protrusions or conditions are present which could be hazardous to persons." When it comes to inspections, we do not get to pick and choose who passes and who does not; we are mandated to follow Maryland COMAR. When it comes to how your vehicle is repaired, we will make recommendations that meet not only the COMAR criteria, but also those that in the best interests of the customer, the vehicle and our company. So again, I invite you to please contact me so I can see the variance for myself because I wholeheartedly agree the margin is large.
